FAQ

What's your photography style?

My approach is documentary with a drive for authenticity. I aim to capture real, unscripted moments in a way that feels timeless and true to you. I focus on emotion, connection, and the subtle in-between details that tell your story authentically.

Do you give direction during sessions?

Absolutely! While I focus on capturing natural moments, I won’t leave you hanging. I gently guide you to help you feel at ease, offering prompts or direction when needed so your images feel organic, not forced.

How do I book a session or wedding date with you?

It’s simple! Start by viewing the investment page to discover which collection is right for you. Then head over to my contact page, fill out the inquiry form, and I’ll be in touch in a few days! To secure your date, a signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required.

How far in advance should I book?

For weddings, I recommend booking 8–12 months in advance to ensure your date is available.

For lifestyle (maternity, family, couples, etc.), 1–3 months is usually perfect depending on the time of year, though it's always safer to air on the side of cation. During peak season, I have limited spots available for lifestyle sessions. But don't let that deter you from reaching out! Last-minute bookings are always welcome if I have availability!

What's included in each collection?

Each collection varies as they are thoughtfully curated, but all of them include my in-person and editing time, travel (within the Windsor-Essex region), a private online gallery, and thoughtfully edited high-resolution images for download. Weddings and lifestyle sessions also include collaboration around styling, location, and timeline planning to make the experience as seamless as possible. Head over to my investment pages to learn more!

How many images will I receive?

It varies depending on the collection purchased and what we capture together. I never cap the number of images I deliver on my larger lifestyle collections and weddings — if it’s a good photo, you’ll get it! On average, lifestyle sessions receive 20–100 images, and weddings can range from 300 to 1,000+ depending on the collection.

When will I receive my gallery?

You’ll receive a wedding sneak peek within 10 days. Full galleries are delivered within 3–6 weeks for lifestyle sessions, and 2–3 months for weddings.

Do you travel?

Yes! I love to travel. Local travel within Windsor-Essex is included in all collections, and I’m happy to create a custom quote for sessions or weddings outside the region (and yes, destination weddings are on the table!).

What if the weather is bad for the day we booked?

I keep a close eye on the forecast. Ultimately, I am a rain or shine kind of girl – you can create true magic in the rain, however it's not magic for every session. If weather would impact the experience or final result, I’ll happily reschedule at no extra cost. But just remember that sometimes unexpected weather creates beautiful, moody, and cinematic moments. I will always take into consideration your comfort level and vision ahead of time.

Can I bring my dog, kid, parent, grandparent or other questionable pet?

Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes! This is your story, and whoever is part of it is welcome in front of my lens. Pets, littles, elders... everyone’s invited.
